This Gold Medal 28 oz Cornado Popping Unit, which is a high volume popper which can yield 10 gallons popcorn every three minutes, is equipped with the "Big Eye" electronic heat control, Lock N' Pop kettle lid and the Brute Force kettle drive motor. This high production workhorse is uniquely designed with an air-cooled electronics which lead to a very dependable performance even at a high capacity.

This system is an internal voltage control that electronically monitor the voltage so that it either cuts back the voltage if it is too strong, or boosts it a little if it is too weak. This takes all of the guesswork out and can ensure the right amount of heat goes into every batch of popcorn so no more unpopped or burnt popcorn! Even better is the fact that machines with this feature can be run on long extension cords!
